1. Using Afterlive
These terms govern your use of Afterlive ("we", "us", or "our"), including its website and clip processing service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Afterlive for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Keep access to your sign-in account secure and use only social accounts you are authorized to manage.
2. Clip creation and scheduling
Afterlive turns supported, completed VODs into short clips with optional captions and AI-generated titles. It supports monitoring completed Twitch and YouTube broadcasts when the relevant connections are active. Kick currently supports manually added completed VOD links.
Our processing worker runs on a computer operated by the Afterlive business. Processing and scheduled delivery depend on that worker, available source content, platform permissions, and service capacity. If the queue is empty, a source is unavailable, or the worker is offline, a scheduled clip may not be delivered. Missed slots are skipped; they are not automatically carried forward.
AI-generated selections, captions, titles, and emojis can be inaccurate or miss context. Review your clips and settings before enabling automatic posting. Afterlive does not guarantee views, engagement, monetization, earnings, or a particular number of usable clips from a VOD.
3. Plans and subscriptions
| Plan | Monthly price (USD) | Scheduled allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $14.99 | 4 clips a week, on four chosen days at one chosen time |
| Pro | $24.99 | 1 clip daily, at one chosen time |
| Elite | $44.99 | 2 clips daily, at two chosen times |
Your schedule uses your selected time zone. Sending the same clip to multiple selected platforms uses one clip slot. Adding VOD links can refill your queue; it does not increase your plan’s scheduling allowance. Allowances describe scheduling capacity and depend on available clips and successful platform delivery.
Saving preview settings does not create a paid subscription. When checkout is available, Stripe handles payment. The price, applicable taxes, renewal date, and cancellation terms are shown during checkout. A monthly subscription renews until canceled under those terms. Manage or cancel it through Plans & billing and the billing portal.
For billing errors or refund requests, use our contact form. Refund eligibility depends on the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded. Any subscription price change will be disclosed before it applies to a future renewal.
4. Permission to use content
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant Afterlive permission to access, download, store, transcribe, edit, caption, format, and deliver that content as necessary to provide the features you request. This permission also covers processing by our service providers and our authorized processing computer.
You must own the necessary rights or have permission from the rights holder, including permission to edit and republish the footage, music, voices, and likenesses it contains. A publicly accessible stream or VOD is not, by itself, permission to reuse it. Selecting a favorite streamer does not establish a partnership with that streamer.
Do not use Afterlive for copyright infringement, impersonation, deceptive edits, unlawful content, harassment, spam, or attempts to bypass access restrictions. You are responsible for your source links, selected destinations, publishing settings, and use of the resulting clips. Send content-rights concerns through the contact form, identifying the content and your authority to raise the concern.
5. Connected platforms
Connecting an account authorizes Afterlive to use the permissions you approve to deliver clips according to your settings. You can disconnect a channel in Afterlive or revoke access through that platform. Disconnecting does not remove content already uploaded or published there.
YouTube and Instagram delivery depend on account eligibility, permissions, platform reviews, quotas, and selected privacy settings. TikTok currently receives uploads in your inbox as drafts: you must open TikTok and complete publication yourself. A TikTok draft is not a publicly published post.
Platform rules also apply. Afterlive uses YouTube API Services; by using its YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. TikTok, Instagram, Google, Twitch, Kick, and Stripe are separate services and do not sponsor or endorse Afterlive. Their changes or restrictions may affect available features.
6. Service availability and account closure
We may maintain or update the service, restrict abusive use, or suspend features when required for security, rights protection, platform requirements, or law. We will provide notice of material changes when reasonably possible. Features can be unavailable during maintenance or third-party outages; uninterrupted processing or exact publication timing is not guaranteed.
You can turn off autopilot, disconnect channels, cancel your subscription, or request account closure through support. A support request alone does not immediately cancel a subscription or stop a job already in progress. Use the billing portal to cancel and your workspace controls to stop future automated activity while your request is handled.
7. Updates and contact
We will post updated terms here with a revised date and provide notice of material changes through the service before they take effect where required. These terms do not exclude protections or remedies that applicable law requires.
Questions about these terms, subscriptions, content rights, or the service can be sent to the Afterlive operator through our contact form.
